Msa has the best teachers and the Head of Upper School really gets to know each student and family. She has gone the extra mile to work to see my child succeed and have a good experience. I have had two graduates and they have been prepared for the workforce and college. I have one logic child still attending and I am excited to see her grow. I would recommend MSA to Star is an amazing school that follows the Classical Christian model; grammar, logic, are a bible believing taught school that teaches our students how to live as a christian in our world today and in the future. Our faculty are all very knowledgeable in the word and academics. Our staff is friendly, caring, and always ready to help out at anytime. Critical thinking is an incredibly important life skill. My graduates have gone on to large universities and were well prepared for college. They participated in athletics, band, and a variety of other really enjoy the small classroom sizes that allow the faculty to devote attention and time to each student. The excellent faculty are very creative, helpful and passionate about the Classical Christian model of education taught here. The curriculum expertly weaves a love for Jesus and an understanding of God into the lesson plans. This school trains disciples to be thinkers and not simply workers. That is so important to the success of today's generation of educational excellence through Classical teaching methods with Christ as the central moral safe, caring environment with teachers who connect subjects and ideas to help students make more sense of what they Star offers an excellent education that teaches students HOW to think, not WHAT to think. Their curriculum focuses on teaching truth, beauty, and beauty. The teachers genuinely care for their students and their son attended and graduated from Morning Star Academy, and we were very pleased with his educational experience. It is a wonderful place for students to learn not WHAT to think, but HOW to think. Our son got a wonderful foundation for his college education, but it is also a great place for a student who does not plan to further their education to lay the groundwork for a lifetime. Morning Star is a place to find lifelong friends or even mates!, to be educated by instructors who really care about their students, and to figure out what they should do with their school, curriculum, teachers, well-paced and challenging for our children. We chose Morning Star Academy over all of the available options because we trusted that our kids would be educated in the context of a Christian worldview. We also appreciate that the model of Classical Education works to instill lifelong learning and a pursuit of knowledge, not for the sake of knowledge alone, but in the context of developing students who desire to use their learning and knowledge to impact the world for the glory of God. Leadership is ineffective bullying is not only allowed but Star Academy is a Christian and family based school K-12th grade. I attended Morning Star from kindergarden up to eighth grade. The academic foundation prepared me for both high school and college. I had a more driven mindset for education because of Morning Star. Since it is a private school, it is a little more advanced and rigorous. Students are expected to dedicate meaningful time to their education, and because of that rigor students enjoy the benefits of an organized means for learning. While it may be strict at times we have are very accepting. There have not been any social food is very heavy during the week. There are two days that we have sub sandwiches delivered to us. Then on another day we get a gluten-free option and a salad option. Otherwise, it is mainly pizza, pasta, or fried chicken.
